What moving in Emaar South involves
Emaar South sits inside Dubai South, between Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and Emirates Road, with an 18-hole golf course at its centre. Homes range from Urbana townhouses and Golf Links villas to low-rise apartments such as Golf Views, and new phases keep handing over. Emaar South Village is the main local retail centre, and Expo City Dubai and Dubai Investment Park are short drives away.
- Distance: moves from Dubai Marina or Downtown are long drives, so an early start helps, and the truck needs to reach the community before the afternoon traffic builds.
- New handovers: first-time residents often move into brand new homes with no curtains, fittings or furniture yet, so assembly and placement take more of the day than packing.
- Low-rise buildings: apartment moves still need a lift slot and loading spot from management.
Permit and access steps
As an Emaar community, Emaar South moves go through Emaar’s community management process. Check the Emaar One app or the Sakani portal for the move-in or move-out form, and have your Emirates ID, passport and Ejari ready if you rent.
- Apply at least one working day before your move, and keep the approval on your phone for the gate.
- For apartments, book the lift and loading time with building management.
- Settle any outstanding service charges before a move-out.
New phases can have their own handover procedures, so confirm keys, access cards and any move date restrictions with Emaar before you book the truck.

For new handovers, we can assemble beds and wardrobes in the right rooms on day one and arrange move-in painting if you want a different colour. For move-outs, a repaint before handover is also an option.
